Super8 film and digital video
Most of my work includes elements of public intervention, performance/action and/or long term immersive research. Although I work in whichever medium suits my project best, I typically make videos, installations, sound pieces, computer-based work and maps. My main areas of interest are urbanism, science/technology and economics and how those subjects relate to the history of modernism. My recent work revolves around the connections between technology and community in relation to an increasingly globalized, hypercapitalist world. Another strong undercurrent to my work is excavation and research into niche subjects and subcultures.
