Olly & Suzi

Olly & Suzi have been working together since they met as students at Central St Martins School of Art in 1987.

For the past 20 years they have made their collaborative art on site, in some of the wildest regions and on earth. After making over 45 expeditions; tracking predators and their prey in remote Polar, desert, jungle and ocean habitats Olly & Suzi are now focusing on a new body of work about the predators and fragile eco-systems of the Polar North.

Olly & Suzi were both born in 1968 and live in London.

“Our art-making process is concerned with a collaborative, mutual response to nature at its most primitive and wild. Through live and direct interaction we aim to document the passing of animals, habitats and tribes that are here now but may not be for much longer.

We make our work in response to the natural world from first-hand experience. In this way the bush has become our studio.

Our rule is simple- no experience no art “
