Working predominately within video & film, my main concerns are firmly routed within the realms of collage and its power to disorientate the viewer through edit, cut or juxtoposition. Recent works have taken found footage as a visual starting point and, through it’s re-filming/re-investigation, the original visual finds itself redundant, making way to new narratives that form through its re-invention. With the duality of old and new running alongside each other, we sit in a place where the two exist uneasily just under the surface of what we are faced with.
